What a way to finish it off! Phillip calmly strokes a length ball back over the bowler's head, as the ball clears the boundary line.
Kings vs Trinbago, 2nd Match at Basseterre, CPL, Sep 01 2022 - Match Result
Trinbago won by 3 wickets (with 4 balls remaining)
1:40pm TKR earn a comfortable win overall, but that wasn't too comfortable at the end with Joseph striking thrice in the 19th over to set the cat amongst the pigeons, although Phillip saw it through in the end. Webster's 58 and Seifert's 34 ensured Trinbago Knight Riders were always above the required run rate, chasing down St. Lucia King's 143-run total, who were restricted by an incredible spell from Akeal Hosein.
Akeal Hosein, Player of the match: (On the injury) It's too early to say. We'll check on it when we get back to the hotel. (Opening the bowling) I'm pretty flexible where I can bowl. It was a bit slow and didn't spin as much as we thought. (Padded up at the end) I'm fighting for my team so I was ready to bat.
Keiron Pollard, Captain, Trinbago Knight Riders: We'll take the 2 points. These things (losing wickets at the end) happen. (On managing workloads) Nicholas and Narine; we'll try to manage but we're here to win a tournament.
Roston Chase, Captain, St. Lucia Kings: We were 25 runs short. (On Weise and Faf's return) They will bring their experience and cricketing ability.

Length, at the pads and he's only able to defend it back to the bowler
Can St. Lucia pull off an incredible win here? Just two needed, despite Joseph's stellar over. Phillip at the crease, Kuggeleijn with the ball. Field's up.
Cleaned him all ends up! The El Dorado celebration is back on display as Joseph finds the off stump, with Prasanna missing the line of the ball
defended back to the bowler
Another stunning catch! It's full, outside off in the slot and Pollard hammers one right back towards long on. It seems destined for a six, and the end of the match, before Deyal runs in - and with two feet off the ground - claims the ball just ahead of the boundary line. Superb stuff!
full, well outside off, no doubt about this wide.
fuller, outside off and he drives it through the gap in the covers
Prasanna comes in.
Taken in the deep! It's fuller, outside off and Seifert clobbers it towards long off, but its flat and going into the wind, only able to find Forde.
Wide signalled, but it seemed a bit harsh as it's another yorker outside off, looked close to the tram line.
Beauty! Joseph sends in a yorker-length delivery just outside off and Seifert plays and misses.
Just the five needed now. Joseph aiming to pull off the improbable with the ball
Short, just outside off and Seifert pulls it in the air towards mid-wicket, but its a flat one and relatively safe, as it bounces before the fielder in the deep
Bangs it in short, as its defended, but Kuggeleijn oversteps for a no-ball.
Short of a length, at middle stump and Pollard nudges it down towards mid-on
Swing and a miss! It's slower, short, outside off and Pollard attempts a wild pull shot, only to find air with his bat.
Short, at the body, but Seifert backs away and dabs it down towards the off side, as the batters scamper through for a quick run
Short, at middle stump, and Seifert moves away to make some room but is unable to connect as he fishes at the ball
Kuggeleijn sends a length ball drifting down leg and Seifert clips it towards square leg, opting against the run
Dropped in the deep! Full, outside off and Pollard sweeps it in the air, with Auguste coming in from deep mid-wicket to attempt a diving catch ahead of him, but misses out despite getting there.
slower ball once more, and its fuller and straighter with Seifert driving it back towards long on
fuller, at his pads, and he clips it towards the leg side
